An extensive extended cruise through Australia was terminated following the fatal incident of an older lady who was stranded by the vessel on a remote island.

The passenger had been walking on the remote island with other travelers from the Coral Adventurer, but separated from the excursion for a pause. The ship sailed away leaving her and went back after some time after the crew discovered the passenger was missing.

The CEO of the voyage organizer announced that passengers and personnel on the ship were informed that the rest of the voyage had been called off due to the "sad loss and earlier engine troubles".

In a statement, he further stated that guests would be issued a full refund, and said the operator was working "to organize the travel back of the passengers via chartered flights".

Authorities also published an revised announcement, and said they had "provided a directive to the Captain" preventing any additional guests from entering the ship.
